Procrastination: There’s an App for That

9ce2ef07-3537-4422-b7d0-d20142fcdf33_zpsxmohyn1a-compressorDo you have a project you’ve been working on since Edison invented the light bulb? You want to get to the finish line but for some reason, you haven’t.

I know, it’s the hours in the day ( they haven’t changed), the retired husband (I sympathize), the grandkids, laundry, HBO (had to catch up), Twitter, Facebook, or any number of excuses we come up with to justify not reaching the finish line.

Procrastination is one of those insidious things that – surprise, surprise, do not get better with age. But, cheer up – there’s an app for that!

Thanks to Amy Rolph from Unstuck Advice, we can now have a digital monitor. The Unstuck app helps identify the type of procrastination you’re exhibiting and offer solutions.

Are you a drifter, deflated doer, waffler, perplexed planner, avoider, or just a fuzzy forecaster? Check out the Unstuck App to find out, and get the project completed!use_unstuck_btn-compressor

  1. Thanks for sharing this, Sheila. I just signed up for the app and, after my first run through, I am amazed at how bang on it is. I am an avoider, most definitely, an avoider. Now I have to figure out the why of it all and work on some of the app’s suggestions. I have so many people in my corner supporting me on my writing journey yet I hold back and do everything I can to avoid dealing with it. It’s a dream I have, to be a successful author, yet I am afraid of the journey forward. It makes no sense, I know, yet it is very real to me.

The entire concept behind this app is fantastic and your post about it could not have come at a better time. Thank you for that. 🙂

    • Linda, Thank you so much for reading and especially telling me how the app worked for you. I have to admit, there are times when I fit all the categories in the app. LOL. I have always been a determined woman, so the procrastination I experience is a bit unusual for me. I think it boils down to a bit of insecurity about my writing. All we can do is keep plugging along. Thanks again for stopping by the Cow Pasture and joining the conversation. Best of luck on using the app.
